Prestadores de servicios turísticos, instituciones y organizadores de eventos mantuvieron anoche una reunión con el objetivo de coordinar junto a la Municipalidad de Villaguay y la Cámara de Turismo local (CATUVI) las actividades, estrategias de trabajo y promociones que se encararán a lo largo de los próximos meses con el objetivo de fortalecer el sector.
El encuentro se desarrolló en el Centro de Convenciones “Papa Francisco” y durante el mismo se dialogó sobre distintas temáticas de interés para el sector.
En cuanto a la promoción de los servicios y atractivos locales se mencionó la idea de confeccionar una carpeta que esté en los mostradores de los distintos establecimientos. Se precisó que los interesados en participar deberán estar habilitados por el municipio y mandar fotos y descripción del servicio, evento o atractivo a turismovillaguay@gmail.com.
En otro plano, se aludió a la necesidad de establecer ciertas pautas para el funcionamiento de distintos emprendimientos turísticos relacionados con el turismo activo. Entre otras cuestiones, se mencionó la contratación de un seguro, la confección de un registro de prestadores en el municipio y la obligatoriedad de contar con elementos de seguridad, dependiendo de la actividad que se realice.
Asimismo, en la reunión se dialogó sobre el proyecto de creación de un Ente Mixto en la ciudad, una iniciativa que la CATUVI elevó días atrás a la intendente Claudia Monjo. También desde la Cámara se expuso sobre la importancia de continuar con la metodología de “peatonalizar” la plaza durante los fines de semana en horario nocturno, argumentando con distintos datos de nuestra ciudad y de experiencias exitosas en otras localidades.
Por otra parte, desde la Cámara se comentaron las tareas que vienen desarrollando en promoción y asesoramiento a distintas instituciones y organizadores de eventos.
Lo propio hizo la directora municipal de Turismo, Telma Beltrame, quien detalló las acciones que en ese sentido realiza la comuna. Y la coordinadora de Gestión Turística de la Región Centro, María Laura Godoy, se refirió a las propuestas de promoción de la Secretaría de Turismo de la provincia y a las capacitaciones que están disponibles para los prestadores desde ese organismo.
Por último, también se acordaron los mecanismos para la confección de las estadísticas de ocupación hotelera, que se requerirán durante el próximo período de vacaciones.
